Francisco Luis García Ahumada is Secretary of GET19 and former President of IFMA Spain. He holds a PhD in Industrial Technologies from the Spanish National University of Distance Education (UNED), a Master’s degree in Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility, a degree in Physics, a Technical Engineering degree in Aeronautics, and a General Management Programme (PDG) qualification from IESE Business School, University of Navarra. He has nearly 50 years of experience in engineering and consulting.
He is the former Director of the Master’s Programme in Facility Management at La Salle University, Madrid campus, and currently directs the Master’s Programme in Facility Management and Asset Management at the Fundación para la Edificación. He lectures on several master’s programmes at universities and foundations. He is also a member of several standardisation committees, including CEN/CENELEC (TC 348 and TC 319), ISO (TC 267), and CTN 151.
